"Lies and deceit," cried several hapless Ateneans as they, coming back online after resting from their harrowing-yet-still-incomplete Enlistment, survey the status messages of their fellow seniors.
"I was told na tomorrow pa raw bebegin again yung Enlistment," complained Jessica, a frustrated student. "So after I confirm the only subject I managed to enlist, I log off muna to eat, go wee-wee and make pa-inject my insulin. Biro mo naman, when I get back three hours later, practically everyone's still up and regging!"
Jessica is only one of many students who've been spammed with fictitious messages from the equally fictitious JJ Agtarap, supposed head of the Registrar's office. The students were told that at 5pm, the AISIS (Ateneo Infernal Sakit-sa-kaluluwa Information Systems) would close for 15 hours until 8am the following day for maintenance and repairs. Sadly, these lies were spread by worse-meaning Ateneans in the hopes of freeing up an AISIS slot for themselves.
"Magis my candycoated [censored]," a disgruntled technician said after receiving another call asking about the supposed planned downtime. "All these people want [is] a good schedule for themselves. If they keep that sort of attitude and still want to have a decent online registration, they'd better move to Taft."
The unnamed technician is planning to quit his job for a place in the army. "[This job] is too stressful for me. Give me a bullet to the head any day."
